Job Description
|
Supports qualification and certification testing of advanced controls and cabin pressure system components • Provide technical support to the environmental test team and project engineering team. • Support technical liaison between customers, engineering and other non-engineering functional groups such as manufacturing, quality, material, etc. • Be familiar with environmental test requirements • Support the creation and maintenance of lab logbooks resulting from Development and Qualification testing • Travel as required to support testing at off-site facilities Basic Qualifications – • Candidate must have a High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 to 5 years demonstrated experience in environmental testing Additional Qualifications – • Must be proactive in meeting program cost, schedule and product performance • Possess the ability to work in a changing environment • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal • Possess good customer interface skills with the ability to work directly with technical and non-technical personnel • Have the ability to anticipate, identify and take action on potential issues and problems • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment • Must be a self starter
Project taskings for the EMI test labs include: • Common Commercial Controller Large for 767 SOF and DAT - Q4/2012 • COMAC CPCS EMI DAT and Qual Q2-Q4/2013 • A350 – OCU, SACU and ORV EMI qualification Q4/2012 – Q1-Q2/2013 • Common Commercial Controller – All types - EMI retest and verification Q1-Q3/2013 • MP-3 Design Assurance and Qualification Q1-Q2/2013 • PC-12/PC-24 EMI DAT, SOF and Delta Qual - Q4/2012 – Q2/2013 • TFE-1042 EMI Delta Qualification for Jaguar Q2-Q3/2013 • Electro Magnetic Interface - critical need - US Citizenship required
