Job Description
• Assists the Driller, Derrick hand and other crew members with the everyday operations of the drilling rig.
• Installs and checks floor equipment, performs checks on all drill string components, checks rig and equipment regularly for smooth operation, and maintains good housekeeping and safety practices on floor.
• Assists in running casing and cementing, tripping pipe and shutting down rig.
• Mechanical minded, personable, and doesn’t mind working outside in the elements.
