Job Description
|
Position responsible for the fabrication, calibration, and installation of instrumentation sensors on static and rotating engine hardware and related items. Type of sensors to include: Strain gages, thermocouples, pressures, and capacitance probes.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to, the following:
*To make modifications of engine or rig hardware in accordance to sketches or prints.
*Fabricate and install hardware for rotating telemetry systems,
*Fabricate tooling and fixture of (own design) to accomplish task.
*Work with all types of materials and adhesives.
*Work with very small sensors and wire down to .001 thousandth of an inch. Using microscopes and other magnifying devises.
*Maintain work in process status and close communication with cognizant engineer.
*Work with all type of machine tools, such as: milling machines, lathes, grinders, EDM's, etc. to accomplish task.
US Citizenship required.
