•We are currently seeking for Assemblers in our London, OH manufacturing facility.
•This position requires the physical and mental capability to perform general labor in a manufacturing production shop environment.
•Position requires flexibility in scheduling and the ability to work and assist in various areas on a daily or weekly schedule. Basic Qualifications: •High School Diploma and or GED
•6 months’ experience in an automotive or related manufacturing field
•Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively, both written and orally
•Must have basic math skills
•Excellent work ethic, ability to report to work every day and willingness to learn and to be a team player Preferred Qualifications:
•Familiar with electrical, assembly, painting and mechanical concepts
•Must be able to read and work from blueprints
•Good hand/eye coordination
•Knowledge of good safety practices, PPE, etc.
•Understands and is familiar with Lockout, Tagout procedures
•Understands and follows best manufacturing practices
•Ability to drive a forklift
•Valid driver’s license. Nature of Work:
•Assembling all types of assemblies and products, wires and adjusts products made of metal, rollers, electrical motors, reducers, belts, chains, wiring and tubing.
•Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product quality specifications.
•Must be able to use hands to reach, grasp, hold and lift products
•Must be able to bend, twist, stoop, climb, reach, and lift objects above shoulders
•Must be able to stand on concrete surface for up to 9 hours per day in an open factory environment.
•Must be able to lift repeatedly up to 40 pounds
•Use Banding equipment and stretch wrap once assemblies are complete
•Undergo shop safety training, and complete all assignments in a safe and timely manner
•Inspect work for defects and quality
•Other duties as requested or assigned Tools used:
•Drills, drivers, nail guns, torque wrenches and mechanic hand tools of all types. |
