JOB SUMMARY:
• This position involves painting of residential regulator valve heads.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Assemble Cardboard or plastic bins for shipping valve heads.
• Use of hand jack to move baskets of parts to paint line
• Hang valve heads and filter bodies onto paint line - maximum of 4pcs every other hook.
• After being ran through paint line take valve heads off the pint line and stack them into plastic or cardboard bins for shipment or metal bins for in house valve heads.
• Keep track of how many valve heads go into each bin.
• Fill out tags for bins stating part number, quantity, loader, and unloader.
• Use of hand jack to move baskets of parts.
• Inspect valve heads and sort as necessary. OTHER DUTIES:
• Building and testing filters

• An average degree of knowledge is required to perform this operation.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to carry out verbal and written instructions independently and complete paperwork as required.
• Ability to make judgments based on judgmental criteria.
• Ability to adapt to situations involving the interpretation of feelings, ideas, or facts in terms of personal viewpoints.
• Ability to perform under stress when faced with emergency, critical, or unusual situations.
• Adaptability to accept responsibility for the direction of the cell. MANUAL SKILL:
• An average degree of manual skill is needed. Good dexterity is necessary. RESPONSIBILITY:
• An average degree of responsibility is required.
• The operators in this position will be responsible to provide a defect free product using proper safety and other department procedures. EFFORT:
• A moderate degree of physical effort is required.
• An operator may be continuously lifting under 10 lbs. and occasionally lifting between 10 and 75 lbs.
• An operator may be required to occasionally carry between 10 and 25 lbs.
• Other activities include standing, walking, pushing, pulling, stooping, reaching, handling, fingering, feeling, climbing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and visual inspection of parts.
• Repetitive movements are required. WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Good working conditions.
