• Responsible for pricing of goods and services in order to stay competitive in the market. • Conducts market research and makes recommendations regarding pricing policies. • Maintains historical pricing data on the organization and its competitors. • Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. • Performs a variety of tasks. • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. • Typically reports to a manager. • Leads and/ or manages major and complex cost proposals generally valued between $50M - $100M. • Applies a broad knowledge of general accounting, cost accounting and financial analysis techniques for a variety of the most complex financial and general business problems. • Develops complex pricing strategies and performs risk and cash flow analyses. • Develops and presents price assumptions, financial summaries, and risk assessment to senior leadership prior to proposal submission. • Prepares special reports and analysis as required. • Comprehensive technical and functional knowledge of direct government pricing practices, regulations and procedures. • Advanced business knowledge. • Comprehensive organizational, written, and oral communication skills. • Strong analytical skills and business acumen to make sound management decisions/recommendations. • Ability to work in a team environment. • MBA and 6 years related experience with 4 years of direct government pricing experience or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field and 8 years related experience with 4 years of direct government pricing experience. • MBA preferred. • Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail. • Degree Required.
