Job Description

1. POSITION OBJECTIVE:
• Assure Customer experience through continues improvement in process and products applying the knowledge of quality control methodologies and coordinating the support teams in order to implement preventive process controls to comply with ISO9001-Quality Management System

2. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for root cause analysis/containment actions and lead discussions in terms of fault finding. Ensuring sustained Root Cause & Corrective Actions (RCCA) are implemented.
• Responsible for continuous improvement and expected to be an active participant in the Client's Operating System.
• Operating the non conformance system (SAP) and root cause & corrective actions.
• Operation and support for Inbound, Outbound and ‘In House’ quality related issues.

3. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Active participation on all aspects of  client requirement or activities in order to help the organization to meet the specific goals and required certifications
• Foster the safety culture across the organization by identifying near misses and be role model on safety behaviors
• Follow implemented procedures of the Client's plant as well as Client's global procedures
• Active participation on the Client's Operating System activities by implementing and mature of tools like Built in Quality, 5S’s, Coaching, Visual management, Gembas, RPS, 7 Wastes, Knowledge Sharing, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, TPM according to position or department requirements

4. QUALIFICATIONS:
• Technical Diploma
• High Communication skills
• Ability to interpret quality standards, drawings and engineering specifications
• Focused on problem solving and continues improvement activities
• Advance knowledge on problem solving techniques ( 8D’s, CAR’s, Root Cause Analysis, 5Why’s, etc)
• Performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products. Inspects materials, parts and products at different stages of production.
• Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes.
• Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 2-4 years of related experience.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
• Works under immediate supervision.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Typically reports to a supervisor.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:
• Lifting is generally in the 10 to 15 Lbs. range with minimal repetitions.
• Exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks is minimal.
