Primavera P6 Project Analyst

Summary of Duties:
• Oversees and performs detailed project/program planning, tracking, scheduling, financial analysis and reporting based on interpretation of complex data from NNSA source guidance, Design Labs, and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems for projects/programs of significant dollar value, complexity, and scope.
• Building and creation of Primavera P6 schedules for new major weapon program.
• Partners with, guides and mentors lower level analysts.
• Applies project management and financial standards and processes in support of multiple projects and works closely with project management and program managers to maintain scope, schedule, and financial baselines, EAC's, forecasts, trend analysis and customer reports.
• Provides data and reporting formats for all types and levels of program reviews.
• Provides leadership for the development, management, and communication of project networks in support of programmatic requirements.
• Significant interaction with Program Managers, Projects Managers, Customers and Finance personnel.
• Contract reporting, analysis of project resource requirements, tracking annual plans outside the current fiscal schedule, processing costs transfers, reconciling cost discrepancies, supporting budget requests tracking of purchasing issues or any other financial transactions.
• Assists Program Manager and Program Planning & Control (PP&C) in planning, staffing, and execution of major project/program assignments.
• Analyzes, develops, and coordinates plans for assigned programs/projects. Develops and maintains project planning networks for complex projects related to major weapon/reimbursable programs.
• Reports status of project plans and, if necessary, develops and presents recovery plans at customer review meetings.
• Negotiates project related changes with internal and external customers to assure development/qualification schedules are met.
• Routinely uses supply chain knowledge and FM&T ERP/MRP system to gather data required to manage project plans. Evaluates project status and potential issues; and initiates appropriate customer contact with external customers and across FM&T supply chain to resolve issues.
• Leads teams in resolving critical program operations support problems that occur in development, pre-production, and production.
• Responsible for negotiating workload priorities with manufacturing and test laboratories for the division (i.e., Manufacturing/Operations, Reservoirs, Telemetry, Procurement & Materiel Management).
• Performs Nuclear Security Enterprise (NSE) directive scheduling related to weapon programs and centralized procurement. This includes analysis of customer needs, translation of those needs into practical plans, and development of schedules for major customer reimbursable orders.
• Responsible for customer order management for complex, multiple item contracts with high cost and customer delivery impacts. Represents FM&T as point-of-contact, for external customers, with responsibility for preparation of quotes, managing customer order scope, schedule, and cost to ensure contracts are completed according to negotiated schedule dates and budget constraints.

Basic Qualifications:
• Due to Government Related Programs, US Citizenship is required
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Accounting or related field (will substitute 6 years of directly related work experience in lieu of a four-year degree).
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in a directly-related role utilizing Primavera P6 for project planning, contract management and / or production management.

Additional Qualifications:
• Primavera P6 experience
• Earned Value Management experience
• Solid understanding of Project Management methodology and contract management concepts.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ERP/MRP application.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills both oral and written.
• Extensive knowledge of Supply Chain Management, demand management, contract management, and financial management.
• Ability to work with multiple teams of people and inspire those teams to work together to reach a common goal.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
