| Job Description |
Scope of Work: • "Loads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facility. Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from aircraft, trucks or trains and within the storage facility. • Requires a high school diploma with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. • Has knowledge of standard practices and procedures within a particular field. • Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. • Performs a variety of tasks. • Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Special Considerations: • Work is typically performed in a warehouse or industrial environment • Worker will not be expected to repetitively lift items weighing more than 25lbs • Worker may be expected to use a fork-lift, motor vehicle, motorized pallet jack or other material handling machine
Candidate Requirements • Order processor • Computer skills required • Other duties as assigned are to enter all truck shipments into JDE as needed for the day. • Able to multi task in a fast pace environment. • Filing and order processing • Reconcile daily shipments to inventory • Print pick slips and Bill of ladings / (Stock transfer orders and Customer Orders) • Receiving of raw material and in bound shipments into computer • Report completed orders (Stock transfer and Customer Orders ASN’S) • Apply all aspects of order processing, print Bar Codes, labels etc. • Monitor UPS Dispatch log. • Confirm carrier pickups for all LTL shipments • Work with Certified on all forklift and Ottowa repairs and Reports. • Export and Hasmat training helpful. • Work with shipping manager and help Initiate HOS into the workforce • Work closely with Shipping Manager to Champion Special Project. • The successful candidate must be willing and flexible to work over time and weekends as required to support the business.
Required Skills/Attributes: • High school diploma/GED • Complete training for fork truck license and spotter • Able to multitask in a fast pace environment • Basic math skills required • Computer skills - excel, word- data entry • SAP computer skills • Support plant safety and quality programs through participation and actions. • Alert, conscientious, diligent, responsible and focused. • Practice good housekeeping and works orderly, systematically. • Self-driven. • Understand the need for and accepts change. • Able to work overtime to support the business needs • Education Level: High School Graduate • Years Experience: 2
