Projects:

* Sales Trade IT Portfolio support, small projects and capital projects.

Scope of work:

• As a Senior Analyst, you will partner with the business to understand their business models in order to help formulate strategies and develop requirements for new and enhanced systems.
• Lead small IT projects, ensuring that all products and services Sales Marketing Portfolio meet company standards and satisfy end user requirements.
• Support the business by ensuring that all problems and issues are addressed in a timely manner as well as participate in developing and implementing future strategies as well as supporting existing business processes and products.
• Partner with the business to assist in setting strategies, developing requirements and researching and proposing solutions.
• Work with various IT teams to provide estimates on resources and timing to meet business needs and communicate it to the business.
• Work with business and IT teams to identify opportunities for process and product improvements.
• Conduct interviews and facilitate requirements gathering, process analysis and application design sessions with individuals from the business and IT.
• Provide functional support to several business departments and IT products across multiple platforms.
• Ensure solutions developed are aligned with the corporate strategies from a business perspective.
• Conduct process and system impact analysis based on high level requirements across multiple integrated platforms.
• Lead support and problem solving efforts, enhancements and small projects.
• Develop timelines, project plans, budgets and risk assessments.
• On larger-projects, lead business requirements definition, system test and user acceptance testing to support business department.
• Provide written and verbal communication such as status reports, progress reports and documentation to IT and business partners.
• Develop Scope, Functional Specs (and other required documents) for software development.
• Develop detailed specifications and estimates in accordance with business requirements.
• Develop test plans, test design specs and test cases to match business requirements and thoroughly test software to ensure proper operation.
• Develop and track projects, enhancements and fixes to business applications.
• Document all problems and support issues, and work with developers, testers and end users to resolve them.
• Assist with migrations, standards and administration as needed.
• Assist Business partners in resolving IT issues and facilitate working with other IT teams.


Required skills/competencies:

• Experience in business processes, analysis, requirements and process documentation and testing.
• 4-7 years experience as Systems or business analyst.
• Should understand business functions and have experience with documenting process flows and detailed functional requirements.
• Excellent communication, business, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to mentor and assist other individuals within team as well as company in process definitions, requirements gathering and system testing.
• Business process reviews
• Use cases a plus
• Mercury Test Director/Mercury Quality Center or related

Preferred Skills: Visio
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project
Data query tools such as Toad or Brio

Preferred Education: Bachelor degree in related field (Preferred, not required)
