| Job Description |
• Projects: 2010 Capital Projects and Website(s) Small Projects and Support.
Scope of work:
• Work with development and business liaison teams on content design, workflow and translation requirements for global B2B and B2C websites.
• Manage content delivery network services (Akamai) to ensure optimal global website performance and guest experience.
• Maintain content management infrastructure and integration to other systems/applications.
• Support content management contributors both internally and externally, i.e. domestic and international business areas, creative partners and marketing agencies.
Required skills/competencies:
• Hands-on experience with TeamSite.
• Good understanding of content mgmt technologies.
• Must have good knowledge of PERL, JavaScript, XML/XSLT and WebServices, FormAPI, Workflow Builder, OpenDeploy, DataDeploy.
• Experienced in application development, with expertise in object-oriented analysis, design & development.
• Programming and admin level experience on Windows and/or UNIX OS.
• Strong understanding of Internet protocols: HTTP, TCP/IP, FTP, etc.
Preferred Skills:
• iPhrase Search Engine, .Net development and business knowledge in the travel industry.
• Exposure to J2EE with Websphere application server on UNIX and/or AS400.
• Development experience with the Struts framework.
• Strong understanding of web services.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
Preferred Education:
• BS/BA degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to interact with users at different levels within the organization.
