Job Description: • Monitors project progress and projects costs to completion of project • Reports negative and positive trends that will affect project cost • Responsible for budget development and oversight, detailed analysis cost control, monthly forecasting and reporting • Development and maintenance of databases/spreadsheets as needed for cost analysis and reporting • Maintain monthly commitment & accrual requests • Provide updates on Capital Work Orders (In-Service Date, Change in Scope) • Integrates vendor, contractor efforts in the area of cost reporting and controls • Supports Project Managers in the preparation and routing of scope control, estimate revisions, preparation of project cash flows and integrates cost data from all input sources • XSupports estimating and scheduling efforts as requested • XUnderstands Earned Value Analysis (EVA), schedule critical path and dependencies
REQUIRED SKILLS: • Five to seven years of extensive costing experience in construction and/or maintenance work at an operating nuclear facility. • Must work well in a team environment and be self-motivated, responsible and reliable • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required • Ability to plan, organize, budget, organize and monitor progress necessary to evaluate performance against plans • Adequate computer skills and knowledge of problems to support job functions
PREFERRED: • Bachelor¡¦s degree in business related study • Cost Engineering experience • Scheduling experience with Primavera | |
