Job Description	Job Requirements Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Years Experience 6-9 years Description: - Sr. Software Engineer needed on small dedicated team to support the upgrade and administration of a database for a regional Traffic Mgt. System - Candidate will also be tasked to develop other system specific software using C++ where needed - Qualified applicant must be an experienced database programmer with the Informix RDBMS, preferably on SPARC/UNIX - Experience as database administrator is also required - The candidate must have strong knowledge of database programming using SQL and general programming in the C++ language - The candidate must have experience programming on the Windows platform using the Visual Studio IDE - A good understanding of ADO/ODBC technologies also is required - Successful candidate will require good communication skills with the ability to interface directly with customer’s IT staff as well as with Traffic Operations - Experience with Geographical Information Systems (GIS), MS-SQL Server, NTCIP, and SNMP technologies is a plus
