| Job Description |
Candidate Requirements:
o Setup and operate a number of machines with a variety of controlling devices such as CNC and mechanical.
o Experience required in the operation of any cam Swiss style screw machine including CNC controlled machine (ideal brand experience would include Petermann and Escomatic).
o Work from machine programs, part prints, layouts sketches, and drawings.
o Setup and run machines to do drilling, threading, reaming, knurling, turning, trepanning, forming, milling and similar types of machines.
o Job requires complete knowledge and application of shop practice, specifications, procedures, attachments, machine tools, and perishable tooling as applicable to machining operations.
o Must be able to perform machine level programming such as adjusting offsets and speeds and feeds to compensate for machine and material variables.
o Must be able to use a wide variety of fixed and adjustable gages and other measuring devices to ensure part quality.
o This position is for a person who can setup and operated Swiss style screw machines including the CNC controlled machines.
o It would be for a person who is already titled as a Machinist with strong mechanical knowledge of Swiss screw machines would be a plus.
o The coil raw stock can be heavy up to 40 lbs plus.
o The bar stock used can be from one (1) to ten (10) pounds.
o On the long running production jobs coil stock could be replaced once every two shifts.
o We do have equipment to aid in the lifting of the coil stock.
