| Job Description |
Scope of work:
o As a Business Analyst.
o Web, you will partner with the business to understand their business models in order to help enhance an a web based booking engine.
o You will lead small projects, ensuring that all products and services of eMarketing meet company standards and end user requirements.
o You will support the business by ensuring that all problems and issues are addressed in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
o Partner with the business to assist in developing requirements and researching and proposing solutions for existing applications.
o Conduct interviews and facilitate requirements gathering, process analysis and application design sessions with individuals from the business and IT.
o Develop Scope, Functional Specs (and other required documents) for software development
o Develop detailed specifications and estimates in accordance with business requirements
o Develop test plans, test design specs and test cases to match business requirements and thoroughly test software to ensure proper operation
o Perform QA
o Develop and track projects, enhancements and fixes to business applications.
o Document all problems and support issues, and work with developers, testers and end users to resolve them.
o Assist with migrations, standards and administration as needed.
o Assist Business partners in resolving IT issues and facilitate working with other IT teams.
Required skills/competencies:
o Business process reviews
o Use cases a plus
o Software development life cycle
o Testing development life cycle
o Project Management life cycle
o Mercury Test Director/Mercury Quality Center or related
o Automated testing tool like Mercury Quick Test Professional and WinRunner
