| Job Description |
Scope of work:
• Coding, configuring, and maintaining software in a way that is reliable, efficient, reusable, and well documented.
• Project work
• Small development efforts
• Resolving system issues
• Working with internal customers
• Performing application testing
• Writing documentation
• Complying with department coding standards
• Adhering to change management and problem management processes
Required skills/competencies:
• Strong AS400 and iSeries programmer skills with recent RPG experience
• Must be familiar with several versions of RPG such as RPG III, RPG IV, RPG ILE, and RPG Free
• Excellent problem solving and trouble-shooting skills
• Able to translate complex business requirements into working software applications
• Able to work in a team environment
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Willing to follow department processes and procedures
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with Hawkeye, SQL, Turnover, MQ Series, JWalk, LegaSuite, CTI, or Clarity a plus
• Experience with large systems and companies preferred. | |
