Scope of Work:
δ Uses knowledge of current graphic design software to produce graphic art and visual materials for promotions, advertisements, films, packaging, and informative and instructional material through a variety of media outlets such as websites and CD-ROMs
δ Generates and manipulates graphic images, animations, sound, text and video into consolidated and seamless multimedia programs
δ Must remain abreast of technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in the organization
δ May require a bachelor's degree or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area
δ Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
δ Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
δ Performs a variety of tasks
δ Works under general supervision
δ typically reports to a supervisor or manager
δ A great deal of creativity and latitude is expected
Candidate Requirements
Other Skills:
δ This position will support largest industry tradeshow of the year, 3 major product launches, sales kick-off, social networking imitative, daily sales support (includes assistance with graphics for PPTs)
δ Must posses skills to pay close attention to details and ability to work with limited instruction and direction
δ Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate a good work ethic is an absolute necessity
δ Effective listening and comprehension skills to listen to "clients" and comprehend Clent's branding guidelines and follow guidelines regardless of potential "creative" limitations
δ While most designers use MACS this position does not
δ Candidate will need to be able to use a PC
δ Must be able to use the software suite InDesign
δ Must be familiar with flash technology, and be able to write html code to build custom landing pages and microsites
δ Must have adobe illustrator experience
δ Video editing is a major plus!
δ Education requirement is a 4 year degree
