Description
• Under general direction, coordinate and direct the activities associated with the startup of the Project.
• Work will include preparation System Test Plans initially and will then roll into implementation of those test plans during the Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and Startup of the project.
• Work will concentrate on the Gasification and Air Separation Unit areas of the Plant.
• However the position may be called on to assist in other areas as necessary.
• Must be able to read and comprehend Single Line Electrical drawings, Piping and Instrumentation drawings, electrical schematics, logic drawings and equipment instruction manuals.
• Requires good verbal communication skills for working with and directing various members and groups associated with the startup team including craft labor support.
• Must be self-motivated and must be able to plan for and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to exercise good judgment, set priorities, and effectively communicate with co-workers and customers directly and through e-mail and telephone.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to increase knowledge in technical areas consistent with job requirement such as understanding operation and startup requirements of new equipment.
• REQUIRED LICENSES, DEGREES, CERTIFICATES, and YEARS OF EXERIENCE 15 + years experience in plant operations or Test & Startup on Coal Gasification processes.
• Procedure preparation and excellent writing skills are required.
• COMPETENCIES Communications, Troubleshooter, Achievement oriented, Adaptability, Innovative, Continuous Improvement, Team Player, Leadership Skills, Highly Motivated.
• Need someone exp. with Test & Startup on Coal Gasification Process, Candidates must have Gasification Operations or startup experience.
