Job Duties:
1) Lead & coordinate Problem Resolution activities
2) Lead & coordinate Failure Analysis and Root Cause Analysis
3) Coordinate customer corrective action (8D) review meetings
4) Ensure status reports & tracking matrix are accurate and adequate
5) Review status of each corrective action (8D) with the Quality Engineers
6) Send corrective actions (8D) for approval to the cross-functional team
7) Follow up with the cross-functional team on timely approval of the 8Ds
8) Report bottlenecks for a timely submission to the team lead
9) Send approved status reports to the customer base as required
10) Ensure comments from the customer base are documented
11) Review customer comments with the cross-functional team for each 8D
12) Document control of all correspondence in the system network folder
13) Report out status updates in pie-charts, spreadsheets etc.
14) Support Program Management, Quality & Engineering teams
Requirements:
1) Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel & Adobe Acrobat)
2) Extensive working knowledge of the 8D corrective action process
3) In-depth understanding of quality concepts & principles
4) Ability to work with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines
5) Extensive working knowledge of the 8D corrective action process
6) Good written & verbal communication skills
7) Ability to multi-task & prioritize
8) Engineering degree preferred
