Job Description: • The contracts analyst is responsible for supporting the Contracts Manager and Materials Manager throughout all phases of the procurement and contract lifecycles. • This position will interface with stakeholders during the formation and administration phases. • The contracts analyst may also be expected to occasionally prepare purchase orders and contracts—where required, the analyst will also be expected to interface with Suppliers to verify/obtain pricing, manage correspondence, ensure certificates of insurance remain current, etc.. • The contracts analyst will also be expected to maintain workload management tools and to prepare certain performance metrics, charts, and graphs. • Additionally, the Contracts Analyst will be expected to perform a high volume of administrative tasks such as preparing files for setup, maintenance, and close-out. The individual may also be required to develop/establish processes or programs to capture information necessary to generate reports. • This job is extremely fast-paced. • Regular overtime (~15hrs/week) should be expected during the first few weeks but is expected to subside. • Overtime and shift coverage may be occasionally required.
Primary Responsibilities: • Serves as the primary interface between stakeholders and Contracts Agents during the initiation and development phases of the contract lifecycle. • Ensure contract requisitions are complete, thoroughly documented, and have all required approvals. • Maintaining EPU Project Supply Chain KPI metrics and generating KPI reports. • Preparing Supply Chain input to project-wide weekly and monthly reports. • Maintain files. • Other duties as assigned. • There is no budgetary or supervisory responsibility associated with this position.
Desired Qualifications/Experience: • Experience using Passport version 10 is helpful. • 3+ years nuclear contracts/procurement experience; or 5+ years non-nuclear contracts / procurement experience; or other relevant role (advanced degrees may be considered in lieu of required experience). • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Demonstrated ability to meet tightly-compressed schedules. • Demonstrated strong organizational and communication skills. • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team setting of subject matter experts, stakeholders and suppliers. • Technical, engineering knowledge or expertise is not required, but may be helpful. • Experience in power generation or large construction projects preferred, but not required. • Exceptional general office and general computer skills required.
