Description: • In general - individual will be involved with test program planning, estimating, project execution for test facility and/or test equipment design and build, test operation • Interacts with other engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, or modifications • Identifies functional problems and suggests resolutions • Assists in the definition of internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs. Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports • May require a bachelor's degree and 6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals • Performs a variety of tasks • May lead and direct the work of others • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected • Typically reports to a supervisor or manager
Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Applicable Science • 5 years of related experience in Test Engineering • Working knowledge in overall integrated test program processes that include test equipment and test operation, product development and qualification • Direct work experience with facility design, valve and duct sizing and distributed facility control systems (close loop control system) • Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to: test program planning, estimating, project execution both on test facility build and/or test equipment design and build, and test operations • Mechanical Engineering experience preferred • Knowledge of pneumatic controls and concepts, refrigeration systems, heat transfer, turbomachinery, compressible flow, and fluids a plus • U.S. Citizen or GC holder, local candidates preferred | |
