Job Description
Majority of the tasks performed by this position are clerical ( data entry, scanning, taking incoming calls, sorting and distribution of the faxes and mail).

The candidate must have experience using VLOOKUP.

SUMMARY:
Supports Product Line Management department in efforts to formulate strategy and resulting sales increases by providing a variety of reports and product presentation materials.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.:
1. Prepares and provides reports, graphs and charts for monitoring and tracking backlog, forecasts and plans; researches, verifies and analyzes same for accuracy; identifies anomalies.
2. Collaborates with Sales, Design and Engineering departments to compile and provide product line information used in proposals and customer presentations; coordinates special events for customers; coordinates customer premiums, specialty gifts, promotional items and special services.
3. Assists with tracking of project milestones and adherence to plan; identifies situations requiring intervention of Product Line management; collaborates with program managers to correct backlog issues and resolve report inaccuracies.
4. Coordinates exchange of data and information between Product Line and Engineering or Purchasing departments, as appropriate for product costing, production planning, long-range planning, compliance, or other requirements as needed.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.

Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and two-to-five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
