Job Description:
• Assembles fabricated parts at floor stations.
• Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
• Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
• Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary.
• Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.
• May require 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Works under immediate supervision.
• Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
• Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Special Considerations:
• Lifting is generally in the 10 to 15 Lbs. range with minimal repetitions.
• Exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks is minimal.

Additional Qualifications and Considerations:
• Experience using and comfortable with a microscope for assembly and inspection of parts.
• Experience working in a class 1000 cleanroom.
• Comfortable working with chemicals and using personal protective equipment.
• Requires at least 1 year of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Operators are required to read and follow work instructions, which requires English comprehension and communication abilities.
•  Position may be in a Cleanroom environment. Prior cleanroom and microscope experience preferred.
• Candidates must have computer skills and be familiar of how to use a computer.
• Request candidate that has experience working with chemicals.
• May be working with some chemicals (hydrofluoric acid, isopropyl alcohol and acetone).
• Candidates comfortable with microscope work preferred; include this in your comments when submitting
• Candidate must be able to follow direction and documentation and listen to instruction.
• Understanding and awareness of chemicals in the work area.
• Candidates must be of U.S. Citizenship/Perm Resident.
