• The Business Analyst will help document policy, process, and procedures within Global Operations. • Analyze is various key performance indicators to identify areas to improve process, tools, and other needs of the business. • Create new means of analytics to capture business needs and deficiencies. • Utilize methodology to gain efficiencies with process across several areas of the organization. • Operational and Process subject matter expert for various groups within Global Operations
Responsibilities: • Document and analyze current Global Operations process and procedures, • Utilizing key stakeholders and other available resources research, facilitate discussions, analyze and evaluate options and provide recommendations to the Program Manager/Project Manager. • Document procedure and policy changes from current state model through future state impacts of project. • Maintain and develop knowledge of project methodologies and a professional network of contacts, sharing knowledge and best practice where appropriate to support continuous improvement. • Manage project tasks or parts of the project plan assigned within scope, quality and timeframe allocated with minimal supervision. • Complete elements in the definition, requirements, design, build and delivery of a project or Program. • Conduct requirements gathering; and document business requirement in a clear, complete, and concise manner. Ensure that business requirements are aligned to business goals and priorities • Provide business support for user acceptance and business process testing to ensure that requirements are met • Proactively identify improvement opportunities, and work with business customers to anticipate future needs involving changes to systems and processes • Conduct analysis, planning, and execution activities around technology and process changes. Skills: • Solid business process knowledge and proficiency in creating business and technical documentation • SDLC Activities - lifecycle software development activities (planning, requirements definition, analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, training, implementation and support) of new and existing applications. • Be flexible and manage change while working in complex situations with varying degrees of ambiguity • Strong interpersonal skills are essential given that the position will have significant interaction with various functional areas and all levels of associates • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to probe underlying business needs • Self-starter, able to stay current with IT and project methodologies • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast paced environment. • Develop, write, and maintain documentation, technical or procedural manuals. • Gather technical information through varied sources and task analysis, interviewing technical staff and management as needed • Update, revise, or rewrite existing software and procedural documentation as needed. • Review all documents to be distributed by technology and rework as appropriate. • Experience with Business Intelligence initiatives and related data analysis tools; including SQL Reporting • Experience in transactional analysis related to product management; • Good hands-on experience in interacting with business/stakeholders, documenting business/functional requirements for a technology project in the form of BRD/FSD, Process Flow Diagrams, Use Case Modelling, Requirement Traceability, Data/Scenario Analysis etc. • Excellent written/verbal communication, status reporting, presentation, stakeholder management, risk management, problem solving, ability to work independently, quality processes, fluency with MSOffice (Excel, Powerpoint, Visio) • Desire combination of operational and IT experience • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline preferred • A minimum of 5 years Business Analysis experience is required. • Agile/SDLC- desired • ITILv3 Certification - desired • Igrafx training for process mapping - desired |
