Job Description
• Client is seeking a highly adaptable individual to join its Contracts and Procurement Team as a Contract Administrator (CA). • Individual must be able to work in a high paced, team environment, organized and detail oriented.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Duties will include: • Administers contracts, subcontract and/or task orders issued to Client in accordance with customer specifications, regulatory requirements and company compliance. • contract agreements will be moderate to high dollar value, risk, and complexity. • Experience in managing Government Contracts and the following contract types issued to Client - Multiple Award IDIQ, GSA, BPAs, and Task Orders awarded from these contract vehicles. • Experience in the contract management of T&M, CPFF and Fixed Price Labor Hour contract actions. • Reviews Client performance to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions. • Negotiates with customer to ensure compliant with proposal or proposal revisions, resolve problems on contractual obligations and actions necessary to ensure compliance. • Initiates internal documentation to authorize and direct work in accordance with contractual specifications and company processes. • Prepares contractual correspondence. • Performs other duties as assigned. • Must have an understanding of the government acquisition process. • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR). • Possess a positive and proactive attitude and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
REQUIRED SKILLS: • 3 to 5 years of direct, full time contract administration experience. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Bachelor’s degree desired from an accredited institution preferably in Business Administration or related field • Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly. • Works independently with minimal supervision |
