Department: Finishing Job Title: Flat Packer Education Requirement(s): High School Diploma or equivalent Summary: • Performs Finishing functions by supporting the department by assisting with packing products. • Follow general safety and compliance with all workplace rules, policies and procedures, i.e. SQF, safety, etc.
Essential Functions: • Responsibilities include reviewing Job specifications, comparing cartons to specifications for accuracy. • Pack cartons according to specification and ensure that corrugate is staged, isolates non-conforming product. • Monitor quality and line clearance, and assist in general housekeeping. • Work directly with the Operator for special instructions. • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Qualification / Requirement: • The ideal candidate for this job should have a general understanding of manufacturing and its processes. Protective Equipment Required: • Safety glasses, safety shoes, earplugs, cut-resistant gloves, hairnet, and beard net if necessary.
Essential Skills: • Written/Verbal Communications Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with others. • Computer Skills: Must have knowledge of Windows based software.
