Description: •Level 3 Pediatric Critical Care (Required)
Assignment Information: •The client Medical Center is currently in need of Registered Nurses (RN) with a minimum of two (2) years of Level 3 PICU experience as a Pediatric Critical Care RN providing care to critically ill or injured children ranging from newborns to adolescents who need round the clock monitoring. •RNs are responsible for intense interventions, lifesaving treatments and complex care for patients with life-threatening illness or conditions. •RNs may be floating to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), as needed to care for acutely ill newborns with a variety of medical conditions such as recovering from surgery, and have a variety of other medical needs, thereby enabling intervention of life-threatening or emergency situations. •All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
Remarks: •RNs will float within the assigned Facility; and/or from a DHS Facility to another DHS Facility as needed; and/or be scheduled to a Workweek assignment between Facilities as needed. •DHS Facilities include but not limited to LA General Medical Center, Harbor UCLA Medical Center, and Olive View UCLA Medical Center. •Ensure that profiles are submitted only for RNs who are fully committed to working a Level 3 PICU per diem assignment.
Required •certifications include active Registered Nurse license, BLS/PALS/NRP, NIHSS Certification, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA City), and proof of full COVID and seasonal Flu Vaccinations. |
