Job Description


POSITION OVERVIEW:  

• This temporary entry-level position provides administrative and compliance support to the Business Development Administrator in monitoring and maintaining procurement and contractual compliance activities for Small Business Utilization. 
• The employee assists with contract documentation, data tracking, compliance reporting in the B2GNOW compliance system, and coordination of administrative tasks related to professional services.
• Work is performed under direct supervision and follows established procedures and guidelines to support contract monitoring and compliance functions in accordance with Federal, State, and County regulations.

CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with organizing and maintaining procurement and contract administration files.
• Maintain contract logs, tracking spreadsheets, and compliance databases.
• Assist with compiling contractor and subcontractor compliance reports. Support monitoring of Small Business Enterprise (SBE)  participation documentation.
• Assist in preparation of contract documentation including amendments, task authorizations, and supporting records.
• Coordinate document collection from contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal departments.
• Assist with preparation of meeting materials for pre-proposal, meetings, workshops, and compliance discussions.
• Compile data and statistics for internal reports and advisory boards.
• Provide other support as assigned


Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience

• Ability to speak and understand English and ability to communicate effectively with internal staff and external vendors Required 

• Must have an associates degree or currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field Required
 
• Experience using Microsoft Office, Word Required 1 Years

• Experience using a laptop, printer/scanner Required 1 Years

• Strong organizational and record keeping skills Required
 
• Ability to manage multiple administrative tasks Required
 
• Attention to detail when tracking compliance documentation Required
