What is the experience in creating models in Ansys and/or MATLAB toolset if any? 6. Any experience in designing sensors or sensor housing?
Key Responsibilities:
•Project Leadership & Support: Spearhead and contribute to multiple sensor projects aimed at developing and qualifying temperature, flow, and pressure sensors for environmental control systems. •Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with diverse teams to conduct trade studies, establish and validate detailed requirements, and prepare development/qualification plans while ensuring comprehensive design, analysis, and qualification of sensor products. •Technical Coordination: Ensure technical coherence within engineering functions, demonstrating compliance with all customer requirements and maintaining a high standard of product design quality. •Design Quality Assurance: Oversee design quality by reviewing and approving rigorous design documents and comprehensive reports. •Technical Leadership: Lead technical discussions during customer design reviews, coordinate technical meetings, and facilitate internal reviews, supported by appropriate functional groups as needed. •Planning & Scheduling: Develop detailed technical plans and schedules, manage project priorities, facilitate multiple projects/activities, and regularly update project engineering and management on progress. •Qualification Development: Design and implement qualification plans and procedures aligned with customer and industry standards, partnering with qualification laboratories for testing and report generation.
Minimum Qualifications:
•A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. •Expertise in 3D Mechanical design and familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Preferred Experience:
•Experience in designing and developing temperature, flow, and/or pressure sensors. •Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis, Fluid Mechanics, and/or CFD Flow Simulations. |
