Job Description

• As a Lead Subcontracts Specialist, you will lead the material portion of the end-to-end cycle of FAR15 proposals and subcontracts, supporting large-scale  Programs. 
• The process starts with the proposal and winning the sales order, then ends with negotiating subcontracts or long-term purchase orders with suppliers. 
• Throughout, the Principal Subcontracts Specialist will coordinate the completion of compliant FAR15 material packages to the US Government, working closely with the  Pricing Organization and partnering with Business Units, to fulfill subcontracts aligned with program award.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate proposal and contract execution activities for large-scale  Programs
• Develop strong material negotiation positions in-support of customer contract award
• Interface with business team to support customer negotiations and execution of programs
• Interface with  Customers to support audits and award activities
• Support key program suppliers as needed
• Mentor and train team members

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, L&C, Business, or Finance
• US Citizenship due to contractual requirements
• Detailed understanding of the DoD Procurement Life Cycle

• Experience with Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TCPD)
• Ability to understand and interpret terms and conditions flow down
