*Key Responsibilities
• Prepare FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15 / TINA compliant proposals for U.S. Government agencies and prime contractors, as well as proposals for non U.S. Government customers. • Sign 1411 coversheets for FAR Part 15 proposals, including final pricing certification. • Support DCAA, DCMA, and prime contractor audits, fact finds, and data requests. • Contribute to business cases, competitive assessments, risk mitigation strategies, and negotiation strategies in support of customer proposals. • Drive top line and bottom line growth through sound business and financial analysis that balances profitability with customer value. • Provide pricing and negotiation support to customer business teams. • Develop and provide pricing recommendations for transactional spares and repairs as required. • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with cross functional partners (Finance, Contracts, Program Management, Sales, Operations). • Drive organizational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives, standard methodologies, productivity enhancements, margin expansion, and skill development initiatives.
*Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business discipline. • 2.5+ years of direct government/defense experience or 5+ years of directly related experience in pricing, finance, accounting, or business analysis. • Strong working knowledge of government regulations related to pricing and procurement (FAR). • Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills. • Proficiency with data analysis and pricing tools. • Strong written and verbal English communication and presentation skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, and experience with SAP or similar ERP systems. • Ability to travel up to 10%.
*Preferred Qualifications-
• Experience in cost accounting, pricing, finance, or marketing, preferably within a government/defense environment. • Demonstrated experience coordinating work across teams and serving as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders. • Ability to create, analyze, and interpret financial models to support pricing and investment decisions. • Experience integrating pricing strategies with broader product or market strategies. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with a strong bias for action and results. • Creative and strategic thinker who can anticipate risks and opportunities and implement improvements. • Demonstrated experience driving process improvements, including use of Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
