Job Description: • Aerospace Senior Advanced Project Engineer • Responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of aerospace projects. • This position requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership capabilities. • Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications typically associated with this role:
Key Responsibilities • Project Management: Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. • Technical Oversight: Supervise the engineering team in the design and analysis of aerospace systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain, to facilitate project success. • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address technical and project-related challenges. • Documentation: Ensure thorough documentation of project specifications, design changes, and compliance reports.
Qualifications:- Education: • A bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering or a related field; a master’s degree is often preferred. Experience: • Several years of experience in aerospace engineering, with a focus on project leadership. Skills: • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in engineering software, and excellent communication abilities. Certifications: • Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certifications may be advantageous.
Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in engine design, turbofan or fan module design, engine module lead, and aircraft integration or aircraft/propulsion engine certification and testing. • Strong program management skills and experience with EVMS, Cost Account management, Jira/Agile tools, and requirements-based systems engineering. • Ability to work independently and lead teams effectively. • Experience working with aircraft OEMs and other key stakeholders. • Local to the Phoenix, Arizona area. Or willing to relocate within very short timeframe.
