• Responsible for the project engineering leadership of the Controls System team which consists of multi-disciplinary members. Develop and manage program EAC.
• Develop resource plans, ensure proper forecast in MAT tool with help from PP&C and PMO.
• Build and maintain program IMS, and deploy earned value management.
• Provide clarity and prioritization on engineering task execution to ensure projects completed within budget and scheduling constraints.
• Develops, implements, and monitors metrics to ensure data up-to-date program status and proactively drive corrective actions.
• Manage risks.
• Proven strong leadership and communication skills. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Controls Systems, Software, Systems Design, Chemical or Mechanical engineering and 6-8 years of experience in Aerospace.
• 3 to 5+ years of project engineering leadership experience in an aerospace engineering environment with a development program experience in a DO178B/C, DO254 and ARP4754 environments.
• Candidate must be cleared for military development programs.
Additional Qualifications:
• Experience with requirements management an asset.
