Position Summary
• The Strategic Sourcing Specialist II is responsible for supplier market research, supplier evaluation, and obtaining documentation required for solicitation efforts, including drawings, scorecards, and historical purchasing data. • This role supports the completion of compliant FAR 15 subcontract packages and partners closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with program requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Execute FAR 15 subcontracts in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and other applicable regulations. • Conduct supplier market research and evaluate supplier information to identify the most qualified suppliers. • Obtain and manage solicitation documentation, including: • Drawings • Supplier scorecards • Historical purchase data • Support subcontract negotiations, including: • Pricing

• Manage key program suppliers and supplier relationships. • Develop supplier strategies that deliver the best overall value to. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement compliance and program success.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: • Procurement • Supply Chain • Contracts & Legal (L&C) • Business • Finance
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree. • DoD procurement subcontracting experience with FAR 15. • Strong understanding of the DoD Procurement Life Cycle.
Experience with:
• Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) • Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) • Strong negotiation skills and negotiation processes. • Supply chain experience.
Procurement experience within:
• Defense • Aerospace • Similar regulated industries • Experience managing various subcontract types, including: • FFP (Firm Fixed Price) • CP (Cost Plus) • CPIF (Cost Plus Incentive Fee) • Experience with Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TCPD). • Ability to understand, evaluate, and negotiate contract terms and conditions.
