Description:
• The Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, and calibrating ultra-miniature components and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. • This role supports efficient production operations while maintaining precision, safety, and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble fabricated parts and components at designated workstations following product specifications and work instructions • Operate a variety of manual and semi-automated production equipment per documented work procedures • Perform specialized assembly processes such as wire bonding, gap welding, eutectic die attach, and epoxy attach (training provided as needed) • Handle ultra-miniature materials which may only be visible through a microscope, requiring steady hands and precision • Perform work under a microscope for extended periods of time • Inspect components to identify defects and perform necessary adjustments or repairs • Follow established procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards • Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work environment • Report production or quality issues to supervisors promptly
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred • 0–2+ years of hybrid, chip and wire, or solder assembly experience preferred • Good hand-to-eye dexterity using small hand tools to process parts • Ability to use tweezers and other small hand tools for precision work • Ability to work under a microscope for up to 8 hours per day • Basic computer skills for documenting defects, reviewing drawings, and time entry • Ability to follow detailed instructions and standardized procedures • Strong attention to detail and quality
Special Considerations:
• Lifting up to 30 lbs. (limited repetitive lifting) • Exposure to machinery and moderate environmental risks (chemical, physical, or biological)
