Job Description:
* The Industrial Engineer at client Aerospace will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of complex systems and test equipment solutions. 
* You will work within and lead cross-functional teams on cutting-edge projects that transform the way businesses operate.

* As an Industrial Engineer within the Factory Test Equipment team, you will be looked to as the subject matter expert and be focused on the design and architectural aspects of complex systems, which may involve hardware, software, network components, and will include PLC systems. 
*You will ensure that the system design aligns with client Aerospace’s quality standards and industry’s best practices. 
*You will be responsible for maintaining in-depth knowledge of relevant technologies, providing knowledge and technical assistance to other team members, and potentially take on mentorship opportunities.

* You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Minneapolis, MN location.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide technical skills and abilities to engineering teams, ensuring the successful execution of projects
* Become an expert in PLC integration and troubleshooting for a complex automated system.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and manage system requirements, ensuring they are well-defined, complete, and traceable throughout the project lifecycle
* Develop and execute test plans, analyze test results, and drive corrective actions
* Supervise a small team of 2 to 3 and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion
 
YOU MUST HAVE
* Experience in systems or industrial engineering
* Experience with PLCs
* Mastery of knowledge in equipment integration, implementation, and troubleshooting
* Ability to work under minimal supervision
 
WE VALUE
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field)
* Associatess or technical degree in automation (Industrial Controls, Robotics, or related field)
* Experience with Allen Bradley CompactLogix PLC.
* Experience in SQL and Databases.
* Experience in working complex system integration projects
* Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
